Barack Obama Has A Posse
Shepard Fairey, well-known artist and somewhat social subvert has produced a rather striking print in a style similar to his OBEY series of work to promote 2008 presidental hopeful, Barack Obama. Apperently, prints sold out very quickly.
From Fairey's own... keyboard:
I believe with great conviction that Barack Obama should be the next President. I have been paying close attention to him since the Democratic convention in 2004. I feel that he is more a statesman than a politician. He was against the war when it was an unpopular position (and Hillary was for the war at that time), Obama is for energy and environmental conservation. He is for healthcare reform.Disclaimer: I am both wearing an OBEY hoodie, at the moment, and support Obama in the 2008 presidential race.
